William Pate is the driving force behind one of Atlanta’s most critical economic engines: tourism.
Monday's meeting isn't just about hotels and conventions—it's an exclusive, inside look at the high-stakes marketing, strategic negotiations, and major sporting events that are quite literally shaping the future of Atlanta.

Rotary Club of Buckhead
Maggiano’s Little Italy

Atlanta, GA 30326
—it's the reason we show up. For 75 years, Buckhead Rotarians have answered that call, and this year we're answering it louder than ever.
Right now, our club is pouring its energy into three causes that reflect the very best of who we are. Through Horizons Atlanta, we're opening doors for students and closing the summer learning gap at Galloway, AIS, and The Temple. With Lifeline Animal Project, we're giving vulnerable animals a second chance. And alongside the Shepherd Center, we're standing with those rebuilding their lives after injury. Different missions, one shared purpose: lifting up our community.
Being a Rotarian means belonging to something larger than yourself—and we should wear that pride openly. So let's make that happen...

This Monday, July 27th at Maggiano's—every Buckhead Rotarian will receive a "Service Above Self" t-shirt.
Check in with Gabrielle Jones, Club Administrator, or Scott Thompson, Sergeant at Arms, to receive a t-shirt in your preferred size (Small, Medium, Large, XL or XXL) - something to let others know who we are when you are out making Buckhead a better place.

Atlanta Fire Firefighters are being trained to deploy the Rotary District 6900 Opioid Overdose Rescue Boxes that Buckhead Rotary is sponsoring for North Atlanta High School. Each box includes two doses of Opvee and triggers an alert when it is opened.
We need Buckhead Rotarians to attend the training to provide snacks and represent our club.
The training will be held at:
Fire Station #28
1925 Hollywood Rd NW
Atlanta, GA 30318
We are asking all volunteers to wear their Buckhead Rotary shirt. Contact Nell Benn (nellbenn@agapeatlanta.org) with questions.
