Join us on October 5th as we welcome, Founder and Executive Director of Revved Up Kids Inc., for a compelling discussion that cuts to the heart of Rotary’s core commitment to community service and protecting vulnerable populations. Alli will equip our club with actionable education on pressing local threats, including online exploitation and human trafficking, empowering members to recognize and respond to these real-world dangers. Beyond raising awareness, this session will highlight clear avenues for the Rotary Club of Buckhead to partner with a vital local nonprofit, offering direct volunteer and support opportunities right in our own backyard. Don't miss this chance to learn how we can step up, collaborate, and make a tangible difference together.

A Governor, a Dinner Party, and an October to RememberWhat a Monday! We welcomed Fotemah Mba as a new Blue Badge member of Buckhead Rotary. District 6900 Governor Cynthia Dorsey Edwards joined us for lunch and challenged us to think bigger about Rotary's lasting impact.
That evening at President Jeff Clark's home, we shared our new Signature Project approach, focusing our time, talent, and treasure on a few partners so our support runs deeper. We also talked about how social media tells our story and draws new members.
The highlight of October? On Saturday, October 17, Buckhead Rotary proudly…Healthy Pets event at Atlanta Technical College. More than 1,000 pets will receive free vaccines, microchips, and spay/neuter vouchers. Bring the kids, grab a volunteer shift, and help keep people and pets together! Our Monday lineup sparkles too: Revved Up Kids founder Alli Neal (Oct. 5), Dr. Debra Houry, former CDC Chief Medical Office…, and Richard Harker of the Historic Oakland Foundatio…. Then grab your costume for Glow Chastain with the Chastain Park Conservancy…. It's our first Horizons Atlanta volunteer outing, handing out treats to Horizons scholars and neighborhood kids! |
