Happy New Year! Message from the President

As the New Year begins, we all make resolutions with the best of intentions, many of which quietly disappear by February. Rotary reminds us that the most meaningful resolutions aren’t about losing weight, joining a gym, or other self-improvement goals. It’s about Service Above Self and showing up for others. it’s a commitment we renew through our actions all year long. And that’s one resolution I hope you will join me in keeping as we have so many ways to demonstrate this all month long and throughout the year.

Rotary on the Road at Scouting America – January 12

RSVP Here: Rotary on the Road

Each year, Buckhead Rotary proudly supports Scouting America with a $14,000 annual donation, helping fund Eagle Scout badges for over 450 deserving scouts. The Eagle Scout badge represents the highest achievement in scouting, symbolizing leadership, service, perseverance, and a lifelong commitment to community values, qualities that align closely with Rotary’s mission of service above self.

This regularly scheduled Monday meeting on January 19th at 12:15 pm will be held at the Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America headquarters, located at 1800 Circle 75 Parkway, Atlanta.

Attendees will enjoy remarks from the Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America executives, hear sunshine from Brandon Smith, Senior District Director and fellow Buckhead Rotarian, witness a meaningful flag ceremony presented by a local troop, and have the opportunity for optional tours of the facility following the program.

Please plan to arrive early to grab your lunch and get settled. The program will begin promptly at 12:15 PM on Monday January 19th.

Please RSVP by Friday, January 9th at noon so we can confirm catering needs. We look forward to an inspiring and memorable meeting!

Thirsty ThirdsDay

Once a month we gather for casual conversations and fun. RSVP here!
