Four Chances to Show Up (and Show Off) for Buckhead Rotary

The next three weeks are packed, and each one is a chance to show Buckhead what Service Above Self looks like.

This Saturday, Oct. 17, our Pawsitivity Partnership with LifeLine hosts a Healthy Pet Event at Atlanta Technical College. More than 1,500 pets are expected for vaccines, microchips and spay/neuter vouchers. Volunteer shifts start early, so sign up through the club calendar and note you’re with Buckhead Rotary.

Monday, Oct. 19, Dr. Debra Houry, former Chief Medical Director of the CDC, brings us an update on polio eradication ahead of World Polio Day on Saturday, Oct. 24. Bring a guest!

Friday, Oct. 30, 5–7 p.m., we meet our Horizons Atlanta Scholars at Glow Chastain at the Chastain Park Playground. Bring a bag of candy and a costume. The kids will vote for their favorite Rotarian costume, and bragging rights are on the line.

Sunday, Nov. 1, we cheer on Atlanta United together at our ATL United Group Night.  The game starts at 4:30pm playing Toronto.  These are great seats and should be a lot of fun.

Here’s my ask: wear your Buckhead Rotary T-shirt (or a costume for Glow Chastain) and carry your Rotary coins. Future Rotarians will be everywhere. Hand them a coin and invite them to lunch on us.

See you out there!
