There Actually is Such a Thing as a Free Lunch
Next Monday, August 24 — we're taking our club meeting on the road. We'll gather at Open Hand Atlanta, 1380 West Marietta Street NW, to present a $5,000 check honoring their extraordinary work feeding our neighbors (people and pets).
Come for another reason, too. Rotarians who make the trip will be the first to receive their Buckhead Rotary Challenge Coins.
Every member gets two — one for your pocket, one to give away. Keep one as a reminder of the Four-Way Test and of what it means to be a Buckhead Rotarian. Hand the other to someone who belongs in this club, and tell them there really is such a thing as a free lunch: bring the coin to our next meeting at Maggiano's, and lunch is on us.

Buckhead Rotarians packed 100 backpacks with school supplies — and last week we put them straight into the hands of Horizons Atlanta scholars at our three club-supported sites: Garden Hills Elementary, Scott Elementary, and Toomer Elementary.
